(Isomeris arborea, Colored Pencil by Estelle DeRidder)Estelle DeRidder who received Denver Botanic Gardens' Certificate in Botanical Illustration in 2010 graduated from the Society of Botanical Artists Distance Learning Diploma Course with Distinction at the ceremony held on April 20, 2012 at the Art Workers Guild in Bloomsbury, London. Estelle was one of the 66 students of the Course #7 to receive the Diploma, there were 14 Distinctions.
Estelle was also awarded a grant from ASBA in October 2012 to produce a series of reusable plant identification cards of the Madrona March Flora (the top 35 native plant species) in Torrence, CA.
Estelle currently resides in Torrence, CA
