Papaver rhoeas colored pencil by Annie ReiserColorado Business Committee for the Arts's (CBCA) On my Own Time is a Multi-Agency Employee Art Exhibition for the government employees in Colorado now showing at the Colorado State Capitol (Basement Rotunda and Lt. Governor's Office) until May 13, 2013. Annie Reiser won the 1st prize in the Fine Arts category with her Papaver rhoeas colored pencil illustration.In addition to teaching in the Denver Botanic Gardens School of Botanical Art and Illustration, Annie is employed by National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in Boulder.
The awards ceremony was yesterday, January 29th.
